Welcome to Infinergy’s Ardtaraig Wind Farm
Scotland leads the way in harnessing renewable energy sources. However, the set target of 100% of electricity from renewables by 2020 cannot be met without further development. Ways to ensure the landscape, itself a vital part of our economy, can accommodate this include carefully chosen sites and sensitively designed developments.
As part of this goal, Infinergy is investigating a potential wind farm site in Argyll & Bute. The site, part of the Ardtaraig Estate, is located around 15km west of Dunoon.
In addition to it’s renewable energy generation target, the Scottish Government now also has a target for shared ownership of renewable energy projects. Infinergy has started investigating opportunities for community investment and co-ownership of this proposed wind farm.
